Laura is a Creative Director, celebrity stylist and Costume Designer based in London.
Self-taught in fashion design, having founded her own fashion label when she was 18 in India, Laura produced & manufactured her collections there before moving to Beijing. There, Laura continued her label and was at the birth of Time Out Beijing where she worked as an editor and photographer. On returning to London Laura studied Fashion Promotion Media at the prestigious London College of Fashion where she specialised in styling, photography and journalism.
From there, Laura worked across the film, music & fashion industries, thriving on creative collaborations & working with inspirational people. Dressing clients for red carpet events, tv interviews and awards such as the BAFTAS and the Oliviers.
Laura’s fashion work expands to consulting & Creative Direction for brands such as Tilly Sveaas, Henry Arlington, Amanda Thompson, Yasemin Bibin & Ridley London. As well as editorials and a Cover Story for Solstice Magazine.
Laura’s costume work involves a feature film to be released this year as well as having worked for brands such as Nike, Dove, Walkers and Pizza Hut.
Laura believes, her strengths lie in her diversity of work and excellent communication skills, along with her hard work and dynamic energy. Sustainability and a low carbon footprint have always been at the forefront of Laura’s work; as have championing independent, British designers who manufacture and produce in the UK.
Laura strives to create timeless beauty, style, and elegance throughout her work, whilst pushing the boundaries of creativity. Taking inspiration from the people she meets, to places she has travelled throughout the world, gives Laura her unique sense of style.
